MARLOWE – DIGITAL CAMPAIGN
CHALLENGE
Bleecker Street’s upcoming movie “Marlowe” starring Liam Neeson had key art that was challenging to work with.
APPROACH
When working with key art that has a large cast, the first step is always talking with client to get a priority list of actors. Which actors must we keep? Which actors can we lose and in what order?
In this case, the client wanted to keep Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger and Jessica Lange at the bare minimum.
EXECUTION
The key art was reworked to have just Liam, Jessica and Diane. The size relationships were also preserved to assure Liam got top billing and Jessica and Diane remained fairly equal.
This allowed the key art to fit a greater variety of layouts especially at smaller sizes.
